- I'm an author of one novel, CHOOSE ME (2005), and a collection of poetry, essays and short stories entitled BORICUA MORENA: MEMOIRS OF A HUMBOLDT PARK GIRL (2006). My children's memoir, HUMBOLDT PARK DAYS, will be published this summer, and my second novel, IN THE PICTURE I HAVE OF YOU, is currently under consideration for publication. Finally, I recently received a grant from the National Latino Arts & Culture to support a third novel, NEGRITA MEANS LOVE. RADIO INTERVIEW
On April 22, 2008, I was interviewed by a radio station in Lanhan, Maryland. Don't ask me how they found me. I just got a request in my e-mail.
