Hi everyone!

The reason why I am finding this painting a little amusing is because unfortunately the way I paint doesn't give me the freedom to be thematic at will.

Sooooo....the only thing that I can say about HUMAN COMPLEXITIES is that I want to offer it to all of you as my
CHRISTMAS GIFT TO YOU....

This is why I posted it for you despite the fact that it is not Christmasy at ALL!!!!

I like it a lot so it's very special to me,
and
I just wanted to share it with you.

My previous painting called A VERY SPECIAL TRIO was conceptual to an extent. I had to slightly preconceive the painting because it was a gift, and I wanted the ladies to relate to their portraits at the table.

Woooooo was that ever a struggle! I'm surprised that it turned out at all because I simply don't enjoy knowing what I'm going to paint. After this painting I decided that I wasn't ever going to do that again. The only exception would be if I was commissioned to paint another mural. I've done some before where I had to be kind of conceptual.

Sooooo in conclusion this is why you will not see a Madonna w/child, a Santa Claus, or whatever Christmas theme you can imagine on my site. If I ever paint these it will be done in my usual manner, and it might be painted after the 24th or whatever.

For example - GOBBLE GOBBLE just so happened to come out, and I assigned it to Thanksgiving.

I just thought that you would be a little interested to know about my creative process.
