Art By Latina Artists

Supporting Women and the Arts

so last friday was bitter sweet! it took 6 months to plan the frida show and a week to install. it took about 2 hours to take down and it was all worth it. the exhibition took on it's own vibe and turned out to be better than i had dreamed or imagined. thanks to the lovely artists that made it happen! thanks most of all to frida, my muse and inspiration for all things colorful and passionate. i am grateful to everyone that came out to the show and supported the first big endeavor that i put out there. it was my baby and she is on her way to bigger and better things. now i gotta see how i am going to get through this last minute save for the dia show in the same gallery. it's not going to be as elaborate as frida-just a nice, soft introduction to the culture and traditions of our sacred holiday...don't wanna scare the white collar folks too bad!
