it didn’t hit me until just now. i chose the name only just recently [as is often the case]. it had a lyrical quality to it that i liked very much, plus it does have a bit of surrealism as lent to the state of sleepwalking or dreaming. the part that just dawned on me is how it echoes something i’ve seen before. something that i’ve wanted to reinterpret at some point. i guess i sort of did that without realizing it, but this definitely has an undertone of The Dream of the Fisherman’s Wife.
