actually, there are few things that are bothering me about the piece that i don't feel it's actually "complete" but i'm okay with this for now.

this upper part came apart after i began to "secure" the back end [with the sun] to it. i added more eye hooks to both the bottom and middle piece to weave wire through and make it extremely secure. that…

Day 15: Discovering your Inner Diva
Journaling to the best you, you can be…
As you journey through your life and you find your self facing adversity, wanting a change, being extremely happy, needing to decompress, or release stress, journaling, in its many formats will help you to reach your goal, change what needs to be changed, or get through a particularly stressful time.
And you will find that the journaling takes many forms…you may not feel you write well…

Day 15: The Writer’s Journal/Notebook…
I am often asked what advice I would give to aspiring writers and my answer does not vary much…you have to read, read, and read some more and simultaneously you have to write, write, and never stop writing. Keeping a writer’s journal is essential to help you gather as many tidbits of information that will help you with your writing later on and will keep your writing fresh and interesting.
You have to write about everything, anything…

"HOLY, HOLY, HOLY, LORD GOD ALMIGHTY WHO WAS AND IS TO COME!" Rev. 4:8

HOLY, HOLY, HOLY TAKE 2
Pete - He's a nice fella.
He stands guard when I get into a mess
He is there for me when I'm happy or sad
Pete prevents me from getting into accidents
He prevents me from tripping over myself
He…

Day 14: Why write your memoirs?
Memoirs are the story of our lives, sometimes embellished, sometimes not, that leaves a sense of history, who we were, what we accomplished, and how the many narratives that make up our lives fit together.
Many famous people write their narratives because, we their adoring public, like to know who they are, what makes them tick, how they became who they ended up being. However, why would we write our narratives? Several reasons, one is that…

Hi everyone! I Hope you all had a wondrous weekend. It is wonderful to rest once in awhile! Today I thought that I would switch over from my silly, frivolous side, to a more profound subject. I mentioned before that I would be posting another cross later on. I think today should be the day.
This cross is very special to me because…

CLOWN SCAPE
This clown is leaping for joy!!!!! Actually this morning I was out watering my little patch of grass, and a few plants, as I always do. I have a circular flowerbed that has a conglomeration of Morning Glory vines all bunched up in the entire circumference of it. One of my wonderful neighbors told me to put it up on a trellis, because she said that the Morning Glories need to climb.
Well, did I listen?…

ATTACHED
That's right! I finally brought home my baby today. Yes, I'm excited because I now officially have a decent photographer....yaaaaa!
ATTACHED has now officially come into existence. Trust me, as an artist we get excited about certain paintings. This is one. It's a larger one and that is exciting because lately I have been painting in very small formats. This is a good thing...
ATTACHED is a very…

Do you know that this painting, "Remember Me?", is one of those sweet and not earth shattering works of art. It is VERY abstract, and I think that it is about that special person that is in love. A heart is shown on the right side of the painting. Unfortunately it is a little cracked, but it's not heartbreaking at all. This individual is asking some loved one from the past....Remember me?
So as you see sometimes comical paintings…

Day 13: I am not a writer, what can I do??
We are almost at the end of our journey together (only two more journaling posts left) and this one is for the skeptic, the non-writer, the person who has many journals started, but none of them finished. So what do you do? Follow your strengths and go with the flow. In the first place, don’t force yourself to write, keep a visual, pictorial journal that flows with pictures cut from magazines or drawings that you make, or comics that speak…

This fella is looking a little bit frazzled. Sure he's carrying a wilted bouquet of flowers, but he just can't get his act together because he lives in the BIG CITY!
The good thing about big cities is that as I said before, there are museums, galleries, galleries and more galleries, and lots and lots of places to shop!
The good thing about a small town is that people are friendly, there are cutsie little shops, low…

Day 12: Finding prompts—quotes and poems
For those who feel a sense that writing a journal is something they would like to try, but are having trouble getting started, I would say, start with quotes or poems that resonate with you…and just to them. Sort of like the poems I have been posting with this plog. Choose a poet that resonates with you, copy their poem in one of those…too pretty to write in journal, and respond to the poem. You can come up with a question as I have done for…

A MOMENT OF REFLEXION...
For those of you that are Catholics and Protestants, you are not going to believe that I love crucifixes. The reason why I say this is because I'm not a Catholic, but and I'm a non-denominational Christian instead, and we do not believe in having Jesus crucified on the cross.
I attended a Catholic school for 9 years and later went on my merry way searching for God. All of this was when I was a…

Is it gorgeous today! Wow...I am used to 115-20 degrees in August, but nooooo it's about 72 in PA right now....I think I'm going to like it here...Well, I'll always long for my beloved Arizona, but for now It is beauteous.
This morning I actually enjoyed walking baby Lulu and Frida! Of course Frida was still panting and hacking up a storm because she's an English Bulldog, and English Bulldogs have problems with their respiratory…

Day 11: Write it down, make it happen…
One of the main reasons to journal is to get clarity in your life about what you want and where you are going. Those who have five year plans, find that, miraculously, what they decided they wanted 5 years ago, actually happens in their lives 5 years later. Write it down, make it happen. Want to lose weight and get it shape, write it down and make it happen, want to meet a special person, write it down and make it happen, want to go on a cruise,…

DANCE, BABY DANCE!
BABY is gearing herself up to do a jig. I can begin to hear the music come into BABIES room...and she spins herself around and begins slowly to put one foot up in the air and then the other one...then the music gets faster, and faster, and faster....BABY can't STOP! She's dancing the jig in all of her splendor. DANCE, BABY…
