I'm a self-taught artist that finds much of my inspiration from my Mexican heritage and its cultural icons and images. I'm irresistibly attracted to the curious and bizarre and I paint images that amuse and intrigue me. I also create contemporary retablos and nichos using found objects.

I wanted to post an image of a recent painting I've been working on. Here's a detail shot for you. It may be in the next The Near Future Ago pop-up show in late August, but I haven't decided yet.
