Gorgeous Sterling Silver hoop earrings in wonderful hues ! The dangling Freshwater Pearls give the feeling of fresh rain in beautiful steel grays, blues and purples. Each hoop has 10 Freshwater pearls with tiny iridescent Chocolate colored glass beads I hand attached with Fine Silver wire. These dangling pearls give the earrings great movement. The hoops are a generous inch or 25 mm in diameter and 42 mm or 1 5/8" in length. They are stamped "925".

I made these earrings from hand crafted ceramic beads that were brought to me from Peru many years ago. I love the elegant simplicity of the beads, painted white with an Incaica ( from the Incas ) design in black and midnight blue. The blue, black and white colors are complemented with sterling silver which I felt gave them are very modern feel.
I attached the vintage hand painted beads with Fine Silver wire to hammered Sterling Silver circles and Sterling ear hooks. The vintage bead measures 30 mm or 1 1/8" and the entire earring measures 50 mm or 2".

Very elegant Acai Seed earrings in a hand forged tribal style. I love the combination of rustic and organic with the sleek look of sterling silver. I've taken eco-friendly Acai seeds dyed a deep berry purple and given them a regal feel with detailed silver plated caps.
I formed and hammered small sterling silver hoops and attached the Acai seeds with .999 fine silver, finishing them off with sterling silver lever backs. The sterling silver lever back components are great because they are very secure, no worry about an earring falling off with those. I use only eco-friendly silver wire, it's sourced from a supplier that recycles silver back into raw form.

An elegant eco-friendly Acai and Bombona seed necklace in chartreuse green contrasted with a vivid deep Ruby pink in an asymmetrical design. The beautifully ruby pink colored Acai seeds (actually a much deeper and richer color than what I could capture in the photos) and chartreuse green dyed Bombona seeds are each hand knotted on a magenta colored bamboo fiber cord.The necklace is then finished off with a sterling silver chain and a hand forged sterling silver hook closure giving it an adjustable length. A small matching bead attached with fine silver at the end of the chain is an extra little detail.
Acai and Bombona seeds are from South America and are natural materials, no two are a like. Their organic shape, lines, veins and niches are what makes them completely unique.

- I am an artist and jewelry designer from northern California. Many of my jewelry designs are influenced by my Peruvian heritage. My materials also inspire me, silver, semi-precious stones, leather and seeds from the Amazon rain forest. I use sustainably harvested Tagua nuts, Acai and Huayruro seeds. These natural resources also give the native people of the Amazon an economic means that does not involve the destruction of the Rain Forest. I love being able to share my passion and my culture through my work.
