Tree of Life No.3

This is my 3rd project in this series... with each Tree "sculpture" I feel like it is getting closer to what I am looking to achieve. Still planning to do more.

Shape, Texture, Balance, Movement and Contrast come to mind. It is so hard to photograph these because of the reflection off the metal and mirror... I hope the detail can show. The cuts (metal is cut with snips) and impressions (hand punched) are getting better...I used tiny nails to attach each piece to the tree. This one measures approximately 1.5' x 3'. I think I will invest in a better quality wood for the next one. :)
